Some links may take you to a general information page for the state you are looking up and you will have to look on that page and click on that states link to go to their verification page. Others will take you right to the verification page where you can look up coverage. To find another state, just choose the first letter for that state from the alphabet below or go back to our directory main page.

Take a look below and you’ll find some tips on how to use each of these states websites and their workers compensation verification service. We hope our notes will help you navigate around their site quicker and find the information you need more efficiently. Keep in mind that each site operates different from the others. To go to one of the state sites just click on the state link above. You’ll then be taken directly to that states website page where you can search and verify workers comp coverage for any employer in their state.
Vermont: – The link above will take you to the Vermont Department of Labor website. When you click this link it will take you to the coverage verification page as presented by the State of Vermont. Once there just follow the link to verify coverage for any Vermont insured or employer. The link will take you to an independent site that they use for coverage verification. Just follow the instructions to access employer coverage information.
Virginia: – The above link will take to the Virgina Workers Compensation Commission webpage. You’ll have to look on this page for the link to verify coverage. When on their page look to the right under Employers Useful Links where you’ll find a link titled “Insurance Coverage Search.” Click on this link and you will be taken to an off site page where you can look up any Virginia employer. Contact the Workers Compensation Commission if you have trouble while on their site or if you have any questions.
Washington: – The Department of Labor and Industries provides an online verification of coverage. To access this service use the link we’ve provided above. Their site will provide you with active and inactive employers. Click on any employer on the search results page and it will show you their Wasington UBI number. Be sure to contact Washington L & I for assistance or help while using their site to verify coverage.
West Virginia: – The above West Virginia link takes you directly to the Insurance Commissioners website where you can find a link that will take you to their coverage verification site. You can find the link on their page by scrolling down and looking in the middle of the page. Look for Coverage Validation System. When you use this link it will take you to an off site page where you will be able to enter employer information and verify coverage.
Wisconsin: – Coverage Verification is now available for the State of Wisconsin. Using the link we’ve provided above will take you directly to the Wisconsin Verification page. Once you get there you will need to click on their link for Insurance Coverage Look Up. The WCRB provides this information for a variety of reasons however if you have a problem using their site be sure to contact them and ask for help.
Wyoming: – Unfortunately we have not been able to discover an on-line coverage verification system for Wyoming. If you have knowledge of this service provided by the state of Wyoming please contact us with this information by the email address shown below and we will update our site for all users. Thanks.
